# KRIDA Staking Guide

## **👉Step 0: Stake KRIDA** tokens

You need to set Polygon mainnet as your network in your metamask or any other wallet that you are using. You can follow [this](https://docs.polygon.technology/docs/develop/metamask/config-polygon-on-metamask/) guide to set up the network in your preferred wallet. Switch to Polygon mainnet once you finish this.

**Note:** The APY and Duration values in the below screenshots are not actual values. Please visit the dashboard to know the actual details (<https://app.nordfinance.io/dashboard>).&#x20;

* Go to <https://app.nordfinance.io/dashboard>, switch to the **Staking** tab, connect your wallet and select KRIDA staking card.

* Enter the amount of KRIDA token to be staked. The amount of KRIDA tokens available in your wallet is also displayed next to the input box.

* After clicking “**Stake**”, a popup message will appear where you can utilise the toggle button to select either infinite approval or normal approval. Go ahead by clicking “**Yes and Continue**”.
* Now you are ought to receive the Metamask popup message which will allow you to either “**Confirm**” or “**Reject**” the transaction for allowance approval.

* Once you have selected the option “**Confirm**”, the transaction will effectively take place. Within a matter of a few seconds, the initiated allowance approval process will commence.
* When the transaction is complete, you should receive another Metamask pop-up message for you to either “**Confirm**” or “**Reject**” the transaction for the staking.

* Once you have selected “**Confirm**” the transaction will take place. Give it time to go through, you have now initiated the Staking process.
* When the transaction is complete, the staked amount will be reflected on the Dashboard.

## **👉Step 1: Claim KRIDA**

* Click the Claim option in order to receive the KRIDA token accrued for the staked amount.

* After clicking “**Claim**”, your Metamask will show a pop-up message allowing for you to either “**Confirm**” or “**Reject**” the transaction for claiming staking reward.

* Once you select “**Confirm**”, the transaction will seamlessly take place. While you give some time, you have now initiated the Claim Reward process.&#x20;
* When the transaction is complete, you should receive KRIDA tokens in your Metamask wallet and the same will be reflected on the Dashboard.

## **👉Step 2:  Unstake** KRIDA tokens

* You need to use toggle the button to switch to the **Unstake** option. Unstaking KRIDA has 7 days of unbounding period. You will be able to claim the tokens after 7 days once you unstake.

* Click the Unstake button to unstake the staked amount.
* After clicking “**Unstake**”, a popup message will appear where you can confirm unstake amount. Go ahead by clicking “**Yes and Continue**”.

* Now you are ought to receive the Metamask popup message which will allow you to either “**Confirm**” or “**Reject**” the transaction for Unstake.

* Once you select “**Confirm**”, the transaction will take place. Within a matter of seconds, you have now initiated the Unstake process.&#x20;

* When the transaction is complete, you should receive reward tokens in Metamask Wallet. The same will be reflected on the Dashboard. Once unbounding period of 7 days finishes, you will be able to claim the unstaked amount.

## **👉Step 3:  Claim Unstaked** KRIDA tokens

* Once the unbounding period of 7 days finishes, you will be able to claim the Unlocked balance.

* Click the Claim option in order to receive the unstaked amount.
* After clicking “**Claim**”, your Metamask will show a pop-up message allowing for you to either “**Confirm**” or “**Reject**” the transaction for claiming unstaking amount.

* Once you select “**Confirm**”, the transaction will seamlessly take place. While you give some time, you have now initiated the Claim Unstaked amount process.&#x20;
* When the transaction is complete, you should receive KRIDA tokens in your Metamask wallet and the same will be reflected on the Dashboard.

## KRIDA Staking FAQs

**Can I stake new tokens if I have already unstaked tokens earlier?**

Yes, you can stake new tokens.

**What happens if I unstake token before claiming my locked/unlocked staking tokens?**

If you unstake while there are some locked/unlocked tokens left to claim, you'll have to wait 7 days from the present moment to claim your original locked/unlocked tokens and newly unstaked amount combined. We would advise users to claim any locked/unlocked tokens first and then try to unstake.
